Miracle Landing: Small Plane Crash-Lands on Phoenix Road, Injuring Three

To me that’s a miracle of itself."

One witness recounted seeing the plane falling from the sky in slow motion, saying, "I’m looking to the right and I’m like ‘Woah is that plane going to crash?’ And I’m looking at it in like slow motion falling," before expressing relief that no one was seriously hurt.

Another witness described running to the scene to check on the individuals involved, saying, "We ran over there- we asked everyone, ‘Is everyone OK?’ Everyone looks perfectly fine. So something just gave me the chills in my body and I’m like I just gotta hug him. So I just hugged him. Then I was like ‘You good?’ Then he was like ‘I’m great."

The cause of the emergency landing is still unclear, with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigating the incident. The roads between Missouri and Colter on 7th Street were shut down for several hours following the incident, and there were also reports of a water main issue in the area.
