Delhi's Yamuna River Gets a New Lease on Life: Hundreds of Tons of Waste Removed in Massive Clean-Up Drive

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led a massive clean-up drive at the Yamuna River, highlighting the removal of hundreds of tons of waste from the riverbed. The 'Maa Yamuna Riverbank Cleanliness Drive' was organized by the state government and saw participation from senior BJP leaders, public representatives, and volunteers from various organizations across 28 ghats.

He expressed confidence that with such immense support, nothing can stop the cleaning of Mother Yamuna, and that a significant transformation can be expected in the Yamuna in three years.

BJP MLA Shikha Rai also participated in the cleanliness drive, underlining public involvement and describing the initiative as part of a wider service campaign. She said that Prime Minister Modi's 12-year term has been completed, and he has become the longest-serving Prime Minister of the country. Rai noted that every person in the country is ready to serve the nation shoulder to shoulder with PM Modi, and that a full fortnight has been dedicated to service activities.
