MSPCA-Angell and Partners Launch Weekend-Long Adoption Event, Waiving Dog Adoption Fees

This weekend, the MSPCA-Angell, along with several partner organizations, will be waiving dog adoption fees in an effort to help adult dogs find their forever homes more quickly. The initiative is part of a larger effort to address the current state of animal shelters in Massachusetts, where many adult dogs are waiting for a new family to love them.

The MSPCA-Angell adoption center, along with other participating locations such as the Berkshire Humane Society, Boston Animal Control, Dakin Humane Society, Lowell Humane Society, Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center, and the Worcester Animal Rescue League, will be taking part in the weekend-long adoption event. This collaborative effort aims to raise awareness about the importance of adopting adult dogs and to encourage people to consider giving a loving home to a dog in need.

The adoption event is made possible through the support of sponsors such as Hill's Pet Nutrition and MetLife Pet Insurance. Their contributions will help cover the costs associated with the adoption process, allowing the shelters to focus on finding forever homes for the dogs in their care.
