Some of the major black spots on the highway include the Balanagar, Peddaipally, Ketireddipally, Gollapally, and Ranga Reddy Guda areas. The lack of proper infrastructure, including road signs, streetlights, and traffic management, has exacerbated the problem, making it a challenging task for commuters to navigate through the highway.

The authorities have been criticized for their failure to address the issue, despite the increasing number of accidents.
